I am very excited to offer therapeutic riding lessons in spring 2023!  I am a new PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor!  I completed my volunteer & instructor training at S.M.I.L.E.S. Therapeutic Riding Center in Delavan, WI from January to June 2022.  In addition, I have worked with children with special needs in Milton School District that include learning disabilities, emotional & behavioral issues & intellectual disabilities.  I hold a Non-violent Crisis Intervention card and American Heart Association First Aid & CPR & AED certificate.

THERAPEUTIC LESSONS:

Lessons will be available on a limited basis so I can ensure individual, specialized attention & small class size.  Lessons will be available as mounted or unmounted & include general horsemanship (care, grooming, horse knowledge, safety, feed, etc) as appropriate to each student.  For initial client interest and evaluation please click the button below.  After a review we can schedule a meeting to assess the needs and fit for the activities for the new client.  An intake application, physician's statement & meeting with the parent/guardian & new client will be required.   Please contact me for more information.  I look forward to serving my community & local families in this capacity.

GROUP ACTIVITIES

Equine education programs are available for groups of up to 8 participants. Please contact me for opportunities for children & adults of any & all abilities.  I welcome community groups, scouts, homeschoolers, adult day care, seniors groups, summer programs & more!  I'd love to share with your group what it's like to own horses, care for them on a daily basis & share about the relational bond that develops with these amazing animals!
