I've been offering therapeutic riding lessons since the spring of 2023!  I'm a PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor!  I completed my volunteer & instructor training at S.M.I.L.E.S. Therapeutic Riding Center in Darien, WI from January to June 2022.  In addition, I have worked with children with special needs in Milton School District that include learning disabilities, emotional & behavioral issues & intellectual disabilities.  I hold a Non-violent Crisis Intervention card and an American Heart Association First Aid & CPR & AED certificate.

* We are not wheelchair accessible at this time - it's a hope for someday!

* Students must be 8 years old. 
* NO riders over 200 pounds at this time due to horse weight restriction. Some       exceptions may apply on a per case basis.

THERAPEUTIC LESSONS:

Lessons will be available on a limited basis so I can ensure individual, specialized attention & small class size.  Lessons will be available as mounted or unmounted & include general horsemanship (care, grooming, horse knowledge, safety, feed, etc) as appropriate to each student.  For initial client interest and evaluation please click the green button above. After a review we can schedule a meeting to assess the needs and fit for the activities for the new client.  An intake application, physician's statement & meeting with the parent/guardian & new client will be required.  Please contact me for more information.  I look forward to serving my community & local families in this capacity.
